ROAD TRIP!
We’re psyched to be headed to the end of the world as we know it- Astoria. We haven’t really done much traveling as a band so this’ll be a good experiment to see how we do it. The club, The Astoria Event Center, looks amazing so if you’re in that neck of the woods, er…coast, come on out and get your dance on. We hope to make this a regular thing.
No commentsThings change fast around here…
Remember that new show, the one on November 16th? Well folks, that one’s not happening so if you find yourselves at the Lion enjoy Sugar Cookie. They’re great and you’ll have a blast.
Instead we’re helping a brother out (Cody) and playing on November 10th instead. That’s a Saturday. Next Saturday. Oh dear, we’d better get over these colds and start practicing again…
1 comment2 things…
First thing- by popular demand we’ve added a Friday show this fall. Friday November 16th @ The Lion. NO excuses people. We’re coming out of self imposed vacation to rock your asses so you’d better be there. Leave the kids at home watching TV. They’ll be fine.
Second thing- we’re trying out a little advertising on the site in the form of google ad words. We’re trying to keep it as unobtrusive as possible but with a little help from google we can keep this web site up and running for the good people of the magical interweb.
That is all.
No commentsThe Dirty Ducks are, well, dirty…
Thanks to the lovely ladies of The Dirty Ducks rugby team for sticking around all night Saturday! It was great to have you on stage leading a cheer or two (plus it gave a couple of the old timers a chance to take a much needed break). I heard what Friday was for. Naughty, naughty, naughty.
We’re going dark for the next month or two to get 30 or so new songs under our belts, so thanks for all the great suggestions and we’ll see you at Christmas time. Unless we book more gigs. Which we might just do.
1 commentHello Nashville! (or, what I did on my September vacation)
We’re taking a little time off to work up some acoustic sets, but in the meantime I just got back from a few days in Nashville. It was mostly work, but there was plenty of time for play, including getting up on stage and rocking a couple of songs at the world famous Tootsie’s. Aside from worshiping at the temple of classic guitars and falling in love with a little number from 1947, rocking out with the house band was a highlight of the trip.
Viva Nashvegas!
xxoo, Todd.
