Thank you Astoria!
The Remasters have returned from their big weekend out. Actually, we made the 2 hour drive back to Portland in the middle of the night, but everyone arrived safe and sound (if not a little tired today). The Astoria Event Center is AMAZING! Fred and Chrissy have a really special place there and we can’t wait to get back and rock the house again. Next time we think we’ll take them up on their offer to crash back at the house and make a real weekend out of it. Happy birthday to Kay and Cat, and thanks to all of you lovely people for making our trip to the coast such an absolute blast!

Adam somehow pulled some amazing Trail Blazer’s tickets out of thin air at the last minute so the bunch of us headed out to catch the Blazers vs. The Nuggets last night. Sure, our hometown boys lost in overtime by one point but being 5 rows off the floor made it hard to be upset by the, well, the upset.

We’re just off of our first show of the new year and I must say it couldn’t have been much better. The crowd was amped, the sound was spot on and everyone had a total blast. I don’t know if it was Billy’s new amp or the new mix at The Lion, but glasses full of drinks seemed to be falling out of the sky and hitting the ground all over the place. It looked like some kind of old timey western brawl crossed with a 90′s dance club scene with all of the broken glass and well dressed people falling through doorways backwards. But the good news is that nobody got hurt, although I’m sure there’s a birthday boy or two who might disagree with that after waking up today.
